This will be the first blog for Holsten Galleries. We have been very busy this week preparing our new William Morris catalog, featuring 16 different works from the ten-year period before Morris retired in 2007. I’m especially excited to be including one of the finest examples of the Crow and Raven series and also a very unsual example of the Suspended Artifact series. Bill had chosen both of these pieces to be put into his archives as outstanding examples of their respective series. We appreciate his willingness to release these two pieces which have been previously shown only in museum exhibitions.
