Greetings!  For the month of August I have decided to depart from the normal format of Holsten Galleries News and share with you some of my favorite Chihuly Studio Editions.  As many of you know, I consider these small gems to be some of the best glass art available on a smaller scale (and lower price range).  Please contact me wtih any questions or comments. I will look forward to resuming the normal format in the September issue which will include an interview with a major glass collector, an announcement of some upcoming glass events and some exciting new pieces.

Happy Birthday Lino Tagliapietra!

I want to take this opportunity to extend my congratulations to Lino Tagliapietra in the month of his 80th birthday.  It would be impossible to overstate the impact that Lino Tagliapietra has had on the American Studio Glass movement.  Mille grazie Maestro.  Tanti auguri!
