Featured Works

Fenice One of Maestro Lino Tagliapietra’s iconic series are the "Fenice" pieces. The English translation for "fenice" is "phoenix," the legendary immortal bird who arises from the ashes of the old to be reborn. The form of this particular piece is simultaneously both whimsical and elegant. |
Blending Horizon Here is a new work by Hungarian artist Boldizsar Lukacsi. His technique of laminating sheets of glass and then sensitively sculpting them into organic shapes creates works that are both subtle and dynamic. "Blending Horizon" is a great example of this duality. |

One of Seattle glass artist Nancy Callan’s latest creations is this piece titled "Lime Leaf." I love the free form of this sculpture and also the dynamic juxtaposition of the amethyst and yellow green colors. |
Sarcastic Acid Glow The whimsical title of this piece by Stephen Powell echoes its playful sculptural form. The juxtaposition of the intense contrasting colors adds to the dramatic quality of this piece. |

Spring Overlap What a beautiful piece by Seattle glass artist John Kiley! John’s technique of joining portions of multiple spherical forms to create organic curvilinear sculptures works particularly well in this piece. I love the subtle color palette. |
Blue Horizon Oloid New Hampshire artist Toland Sand has created an extraordinary work in "Blue Horizon Oloid." To really appreciate this piece it needs to be seen from 360 degrees so feel free to request a short video clip. |
